I have taught Jr. High and High School Math at a private school and I have tutored both elementary and college math. I am working as a substitute teacher at elementary through high school levels. I tutor Algebra and college/business math. My favorite math subject is algebra. My teaching philosophy is Socratic, namely to build on what the student already knows and apply student knowledge to new subject matter. I believe that repetition leads to subject mastery, so I like to work many problems to ensure the student can comfortably handle the subject matter and easily pass tests. I am interested in health and physical fitness. I enjoy good music, good food, and spending time with family and friends. I like to read and maintain knowledge of current events. I enjoy working with students, helping them develop a good understanding of mathematics.
