About Me

I graduated with honors from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in English, Writing and a Certificate in Early Church History. While studying, I worked as a Writing Consultant where I empowered undergraduate and graduate students to write clearly and persuasively and to read their own work with a critical eye for revision. I believe each student has the capacity to write effectively and I am passionate about providing the skills to assist students to develop their own voice. In addition to Writing, I especially enjoy tutoring Literature, Reading, and ESL/ELL. I am particularly equipped to tutor high school, undergraduate, and graduate level students, but I also have experience with younger age groups. My sessions promote long term improvement in students' abilities by adapting to their unique learning style and inspiring them to reach their goals. In my free time I pursue figure skating, hiking, yoga, painting, and poetry.
