About Me

I received my B.A. in Economics and Theatre with a minor in Corporate Strategy from Vanderbilt University. I recently obtained my M.F.A. in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep in Providence, Rhode Island, where I also taught undergraduate classes and tutored introductory Economics. Over the past ten years, I have taught additional classes in acting, history, musical theater, and even swimming! It is my experience that all students learn differently, and I enjoy finding with each student the best path for optimal results. Usually this means finding the intersection between the student's own interests and what the material has to offer. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, yoga, reading, discovering anything at all, and watching the Bulls try valiantly in the NBA. I am also an actor and musician, most recently having performed in Much Ado About Nothing at The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park.
