My goal as a tutor is to help YOU find what works for YOU. Over the years, I've heard many students claim they don't like writing, but I want to help you view the writing process as an opportunity to express yourself, and crystallize your ideas and beliefs. Let's approach writing as a chance to discover and refine your thoughts and opinions to paraphrase E.M. Forster, how do you know what you think until you see what you write? Your "way in" to writing can use what speaks to you we can start with music, sports, art, movies, dance, video games, exercise, knitting, books, sculpture, or anything else you love! Even though writing is work for all of us, it's a creative process that brings great rewards when you see what you've accomplished, and I'll do everything I can to help you be successful and enjoy the journey.
