About Me
While completing my Biology degree, I focused primarily in cellular and molecular biology with respect to humans, though I have completed other biology coursework in Marine biology and animal behavior as well. Following graduation, I traveled briefly before starting work for a biopharmaceutical start-up in Philadelphia. Hopefully, my next step will be getting into medical school. While I can tutor in many of the natural sciences due to BU’s curriculum and my recent completion of the MCAT (which also includes a verbal reasoning section!), I love sharing my knowledge of biology with people. I find the way the human body works fascinating at all levels, from atomically, to macroscopically. I particularly like tutoring biology because there seems to always be something more to learn or further understand. Through collaborative effort and learning, understanding the very principles and functions of our own bodies can be easy and fun! Beyond science, I love the outdoors and hiking, and am also huge sports fan. I still play ice hockey and am know to sometimes get absorbed in a good tv show or movie on a Sunday afternoon.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy all sports, but especially like ice hockey, outdoor activities like hiking and snowboarding, watching tv, and trying to read about everything that's going on in today's world
