I have made a passion out of helping students get into their top-choice schools since I received a BA from Bates College in 2009. I began my teaching career with The Princeton Review and have helped literally hundreds of students fulfill their potentials in a relaxed, fun environment. My students for the SAT have routinely seen their scores go up enormously not only on practice exams but also on the days of the actual test. My students for the PSAT, SSAT, SAT Subject Test in Literature, AP Literature Exam, and AP Language Exam have also seen huge improvements in terms of their test-day performances. Additionally, I have helped numerous teenagers tackle the dreaded essay for college, guiding them as they illustrate their character, personality, and aspirations. Outside of teaching, I am writing a novel and take classes through The Writers Studio in Manhattan. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and tennis, following current events, and exploring New York City.
