About Me

I am a Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I specialize as a writing tutor for middle and high school students, with experience tutoring all subjects for elementary and middle school students. I graduated from Providence College in Providence Rhode Island, where I earned my B.A. in History and Education while playing four years of college rugby. After graduating from Providence, I took my first teaching job in Austin Texas. I have spent the past two years completing my M.Ed in Secondary Education from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. I first began tutoring elementary students when I was in High School, and quickly learned that I loved both teaching and working with children. Over the course of my time in High School I tutored and coached various subjects and sports. In college, I tutored extensively, focusing on individualized writing instruction, college essays, and middle school reading and math skills. In addition to my work as a teacher and a coach, I love to play sports, enjoy a new book, and cook!
