I am currently a PhD graduate student studying Microbiology at Arizona State University. Prior to moving to Arizona, I completed my B.S. in Biochemistry at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. As an undergraduate, I initiated a study group for students interested in group tutoring in Biochemistry. Additionally, I served as a teaching assistant for biology, advanced biology, and chemistry high school students in the Boston area. Since starting school at ASU, I have worked as a teaching assistant for Microbiology labs for over two years now. I absolutely love teaching and tutoring students in biological sciences! Through my experiences and studies I have developed a passion for working with students. I believe I can help students to understand complex ideas, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence to move forward with their education and career goals. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling, and kickboxing.
