About Me

I am an experienced teacher and tutor in varied disciplines-- music, reading, writing, math, French-- with students ranging from underprivileged preschoolers in rural Tennessee to Houston high schoolers to adults. As a musician, clarity of communication (via clear, logical syntax and rhetoric) is paramount to my teaching which makes me particularly effective for students working to internalize the mechanics of language. I love helping young people learn and strengthen their skills.
