Hello! My name is Eric Schultz and I am looking forward to working with you and your child! I am currently a sixth grade teacher and I have lots of experience working with children of all ages. I have a B.S. in childhood education and am currently earning my M.A. in elementary math and science. I am an awardee of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, and I have spent the better half of my life studying teaching and learning. Working with children is my life's passion, so I hope to have the opportunity to support your child on his or her journey of life-long learning! =) Thank you.

I grew up in Bermuda and Thailand. There have been 20+ countries I've lived and worked in, with my family, husband or by myself. Extensive travel has been possible to countries nearby where I have lived. Usually I make acquaintances with the local people since I pick up languages and friends easily.

Understanding the HOW, WHY, and WHAT of things is thrilling to me; and sharing my love for learning is why I tutor.Easy, is something learning may not always be, but it can always be interesting, productive, and rewarding...My specialties include Confidence Building, Study Skills, Test Prep, Reaching Reluctant Learners, and Reading Comprehension for Child and Adult Learners.As a Tutor/ Teacher/Mentor my favorite subjects include Language Arts, K-5 Math, Science/Biology, Art, Advanced Thinking and Problem-solving, Time Management, and Study Skills.As a tutor/teacher I've worked in public schools including an Arts Magnet Middle School, and on the Yaqui Reservation in classrooms K-12 from Gifted and Talented to Special needs and Autistic spectrum learners.I have a B.F.A. in Communication Arts and Design from VCU and a Film Certificate from NYU; in addition to professional certifications as a SCRUM Master and in Project Management and Grant Writing, and a PADI SCUBA Instructor, and am looking forward to helping you reach your goals!

I am very passionate about helping my students. I get the most satisfaction when I see that my students have truly understood what they are trying to learn. This happens often. I am able to modify my teaching so that it truly fits the needs of my students. I have had lots of experience in tutoring all kinds of mathematics including pre algebra, algebra I,II, geometry, pre calculus, AP calculus and differential and integral calculus. I have majored in Biology and Engineering and have completed calculus courses from NMSU, UNM, University of Houston, University of Texas at Austin, and Metro State where I studied geometry and math history to obtain my Colorado Teacher's License. I am a quick study and am able to pick up on the needs and strengths of my students as well as the academic content they are trying to learn. My students and their parents have been very happy with my work and they have referred me to new clients. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and a Master's degree in Theology and NT Greek. Hello,I am Registered Nurse who is attending graduate school for Counseling and Art therapy based out of Santa Fe, NM. I passed the NCLEX back in 2002. I also passed the Ontario Board of Nursing in Canada back in 2010.I hold active licenses in the state of Minnesota and California. I will be applying for my New Mexico license soon.I am passionate about learning and education. I have worked in many settings in nursing over the years to include: mental health, orthopedic, surgical services (Operating room), labor/delivery, and case coordination. My favorite part of nursing is connecting with my clients on a human level. This field is very rewarding and requires compassionate care towards oneself at the center.
