I am currently pursuing a Master's in Teaching at the University of Chicago and also have a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago.

I am currently a sophomore at Northwestern University with a Neuroscience Major and Psychology minor.

I am licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of New York. Subjects that I am the most comfortable teaching are math (up to Algebra 2), science (Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, etc), and certain languages (Korean, Japanese, French) at the beginner level. While dabbling in a few "teaching" experiences (teaching assistant for a course, Paint Nite instructor) I found that I do best in a 1-on-1 setting which tutoring fits the bill. My teaching style is incredibly laid-back and my end-goal is making sure that one is comfortable with me and also with learning the material.

I am most comfortable teaching the SAT Reading/Writing and helping youths with their personal statements. Furthermore, my one-year experience as an AmeriCorps VISTA for PeaceJam Foundation – an award-winning organization that promotes service learning and peacekeeping through the combined efforts of Nobel Peace Laureates and young people – has instilled in me a deep reverence and hope for our youths today. I strongly believe in our youths’ limitless potential to pursue their dreams and become agents of positive social change and know I will be an excellent mentor/coach through their journey.

I am currently a student at Boston College, majoring Biology and Hispanic Studies. From my experience of tutoring since high school, I realized how much I love teaching and getting to know my students. I am a recent graduate from Tufts University with a major in International Relations and a minor in Economics. I have been helping students since I was in middle school working with students of all ages from kindergarten to college. Prior to spending four years at Tufts, I attended a boarding school in Massachusetts where I was committed to tutoring middle school students at a local Boys and Girls' Club for all four years. Writing section is especially my forte because I think that grammar is the basic building block of the English language that deserves a little more attention in school. I feel a great sense of fulfillment when students start to understand the different structures of English sentences and appreciate such knowledge. In my spare time, I like to stay active and go to yoga classes, including antigravity yoga, and drive to national parks for fresh air. I am currently training to become an actuary, so my areas of expertise cover a wide array of topics.
