I am looking to get some more experience tutoring and teaching with the idea of pursuing further academic work in the future.

I am very patient, a good communicator and can usually identify why an individual is struggling and help them overcome those obstacles with simple techniques. I have worked with a very wide range of students, ranging from my own son starting in Kindergarten and have taught individuals as old as 82 years old.

I'm from China, and currently working in a hedge fund in Norwalk, CT. I enjoy tutoring in Math and Chinese. I have been teaching in APEX as a SAT math tutor. My teaching style is giving students more chance to talk and ask questions. I'd like to listen to them and help them out as much as I can. I'm quite patient person, and very passionate in helping people. As long as we work hard together, I believe we will definitely make great progress!

I'm Craig Lanzoni, a former corporate finance guy who was introduced to teaching when a colleague asked me to present a lecture on International Finance to his business class at The Westchester Business Institute (now The College of Westchester).

I am a graduate of Princeton University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in economics. My work experience includes 5+ years as an investment analyst at a private wealth management firm and 18 months at a digital media start-up. I first began tutoring in high school and have successfully helped many middle school and high school students improve their grades and/or prepare for standardized tests.

I am the first person in my family to be born in the United States. My entire family are immigrants and it was only recently that my last remaining family members came over from China. This meant that growing up I was the eldest of all the children in my family. Being an only child myself, I had a lot of responsibility to take care and help raise my cousins who are all younger. My interest and experience in tutoring comes from helping my cousins through school.

I am there to help them learn and to support them as their largest cheerleader. Establishing that helps grow success later on.

I'm a retired professor who taught statistics for many years. To be a good citizen these days, you have to know a little statistics, because many people will try to convince you of many things with statistics, and you need to be able to separate the truth from the lies.

I am a Duke University graduate in Economics and Computer Science. I am currently pursuing an MBA degree at the Yale School of Management. I have worked in the financial field, both at a management consulting firm and a fortune 500 company. My hobbies include playing and coaching soccer.

I'm a big believer in the Socratic Method and allowing the student to realize the answer through curiosity.
