My name is Kade, and I am a graduate from Columbia University with my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. While I was there I spent over two years working as a teaching assistant teaching a variety of classes in the Mechanical Engineering and Physics departments.

As a tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, I have over 2 years of experience teaching. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Ocean Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

My approach to tutoring centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex concepts. I believe in connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, which not only enhances understanding but also ignites a passion for the subject.

Witnessing my students achieve their academic goals is incredibly rewarding, and I am dedicated to adapting my methods to meet their unique needs. Outside of tutoring, I spend a lot of time pursuing my PhD research and its applications to modeling climate and geophysical phenomena. This forces me to continually refresh my knowledge of material, and gives me endless real world applications to motivate students.
