I am a computer science graduate from Davidson college. I tutored during my time there. I believe in a low pressure and supportive environment to help everybody achieve the success of which they are capable.
I like to figure out where the student is starting from and work forward from there. I also like to try different ways of conceptualizing the same problem, because the same method doesn't work for everyone.
I also invite students to tell me where they don't understand as opposed to me repeating something they already understand.
