Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Before graduating from UW-Madison, I worked as a tutor in Madison for high school students through the PEOPLE program. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History and Civics. In my experience helping struggling students attain a firmer understanding of a topic, I am most successful in guiding those students to reach original insights on the topic, resulting in a deeper understanding of the subject. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, exercising, and watching movies.
