I am a patient and empathetic tutor who believes every student can succeed in achieving their goals. It takes a lot of patience and practice to find the way that works for you and I hope to make that journey a lot easier. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience. I also catered my undergraduate education toward a PreMed track. This means I took all the classes required to apply to medical school, psychology major-related classes, and some Neuroscience classes. I am passionate about teaching subjects like Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Psychology, and Neuroscience. I am currently in the process of studying for my MCAT so most of these topics are fresh in my mind!
I have had the opportunity to tutor middle school students in subjects like math, reading, and science for 1 year while I was in High school. Additionally, I was in charge of training new medical scribes in an Emergency Department. Lastly, I was able to learn many study strategies throughout my time in college and during this time studying for the MCAT.
My teaching philosophy is centered around patience and listening. I want each student to feel heard, important, and comfortable to make mistakes. From personal experience, my best learning moments came from being honest about my mistakes and reflecting on them. I hope to achieve this in each session and to always make sure that at the end of each session, progress is being made!

In my spare time, I love to play the piano and guitar, soccer, video games, and go to the gym. I believe the more we expose ourselves to, the more we can experience in this short amount of time we call life, and the more we will make the most out of it!
