Greetings! I am a graduate of The University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Spanish Linguistics and International Relations, and I also hold a Masters of Arts degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). My skill set encompasses 11+ years of advanced experience in translation, transcription and customer service. I currently serve as a professor in ESL Healthcare Occupational. In my most recent positions, I worked as a translator and English instructor for Basque and Catalan native speakers in Europe and an Ambulatory Representative and Interpreter in the medical field. It is important to me to secure a positive and structured learning environment, create engaging activities and implement learning objectives that appeal to different ages and cultural backgrounds to maximize their learning experience. Through my own learning experience and my time as a tutor/teacher I have developed a great respect for the unique learning process of each individual
