Hi! I am still a student myself, currently earning a Masters degree in Peace and Justice. I am trained a political scientist and historian and have experience in tutoring a myriad of subjects, especially those in the humanities. I tend to like to keep sessions casual when possible-- I don't want to lecture you. I'm a strong believer that concepts are best grasped when you form your own opinions and feelings about the subject, and that happens with conversation! So, let's get to know each other a little bit before we hit the books so that I can tailor each session to accommodate your specific interests and strengths as much as possible.

Hobbies

I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, reading, hiking, painting, and learning new things. In terms of academics, my specialties are Middle Eastern and East African decolonization and conflict transformation, but don't worry-- I have experience teaching and tutoring in plenty of subjects with students in middle school, high school, and college.
