Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Memphis. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I am a licensed and certified teacher in the state of MS, with endorsements in English and Social Studies (6-12). Since graduation, I have done an extensive amount of work ranging from finance to education, with education being the most recent. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Literature and History. I absolutely love how engaging both learning and instructing these subjects are. In my experience helping my students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always thoroughly enjoy the Reading and Writing portions of the exams. I wholeheartedly believe that education is the key to having an improved quality of life and an insight to a different world outside of technological social constructs. Technology will lead many to believe the world is one way, but increasing knowledge on the world and gaining understanding of different cultures and literature will bring light to an otherwise bleak outlook on society. In my spare time, I love to read and complete crossword puzzles. I also like to complete sudoku puzzles. I love to sing and decorate my home. As an educator, my main mission is to make sure that my students not only learn and succeed in school, but also that they take away a lesson they can apply to their lives.
