Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Emory University and University of South Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and my Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Health Management and Organization. I have my PhD in public health with a concentration in health services research. I have experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods and data analysis and am more than willing to assist other doctoral students with their doctoral coursework and dissertations. In addition, I have extensive experience as a teaching assistant in both undergraduate and graduate school and a mentor to high school students in the Tampa Bay Area. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Biology, Statistics, and Psychology. In my experience, helping struggling students prepare for their transition into college and tailoring essays and applications for university has led to improvements in their independence, confidence, and time management skills. As a first generation college graduate, I know first hand the value of education. My mission is to understand each student as individuals and tailor my teaching style and materials to fit their needs.
