I graduated from Case Western Reserve University with an M.A. in Cognitive Linguistics, B.A. in Cognitive Science [Honors], and B.A. in Music on the Pre-Med Track. I am a resourceful tutor with an enthusiastic teaching style to engage students of all ages. Skilled in designing hands-on activities in support of individual learning goals. Assists in developing and improving English competency by integrating and applying effective study skills, active reading and note-taking, and test-taking strategies. Tutored students in creative writing labs and provides distance learning tutoring services to develop time management, self-discipline, and organizational skills.

I am also a hardworking musician with a solid theory and classical background, eager to impart a love of music as well as instrumental techniques and performance experience onto all students. Accomplished in designing and implementing diverse music lessons. Proficient in monitoring student performance and achievement, devising unique lesson plans for each grade level, and overseeing rehearsals.

Specifically, my main subjects are College Application Essay Tutoring, AP Music Theory, Academic Coaching, High School English, Middle/Elementary School Reading/Comprehension/Writing, and Instrumental Instruction (Flute).
