As an Instructor, I believe that adequate lecture preparation, planning, structuring and delivery are essential. I also believe that flexibility and sensitivity to the teaching environment are extremely crucial to achieving desired goals and objectives. For example, some classes are better taught by engaging the students in small group discussions, by using sounds or by asking questions during the sessions. My teaching philosophy is to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning by teaching in a flexible manner with the understanding that different students have different temperaments and experiences and I aim to improve their ability to listen and engage by addressing them as unique individuals. The nature of my degree course as well as my extensive research, supervision, teaching and IT (CCNA, A+,N+) experiences have prepared me for this position. I am a flexible and conscientious scientist/professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. My BSc, Masters and PhD degrees are within the fields of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. My PhD degree was in the area of plasma physics and within the department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. My research and experience intersects fields of Plasma Physics, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Computer Science and engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and School of Pharmacy.
