My name is Damien and I am available to tutor in a wide variety of fields (Test prep, Chemistry, Physics, History, Math, English, etc.). I have 2 years of experience teaching chemistry at the college level and 2 years of experience tutoring local Santa Barbara students in a variety of subjects. My students range from middle school to college and include students from Cate School, SBCC, and UCSB. I completed my PhD in Materials Chemistry at UCSB. I also double majored in Chemistry and History at Cornell University. I have excellent standardized test scores and can guide students in test prep to increase their scores.
I am excited to help students improve their learning and improve their testing scores. My favorite part about tutoring is when it clicks for a student. Grasping a difficult subject is a great reward. If you are serious about learning one of the subjects I teach, I look forward to working with you! If my student puts in the effort, I guarantee they will understand the desired subject once I have worked with them.
