Certified Tutor

I have a B.S. and M.Phil in psychology and a PhD in biopsychology and behavioral neuroscience. I completed four years of postdoctoral training at Washington University in Saint Louis. My ultimate goal of being an educator is to contribute to the development of successful adults that leave my classroom with the knowledge and critical thinking skills to face the challenges our society will expect of them. The reason why I teach is to inspire the future of our society to reach beyond what has been achieved before. How I teach is a process that requires constant cultivation and adaption to ensure that the uniqueness of each pupil is best catered for within the wider class. My pedagogical approach is to proactively challenge students to engage in inquiry-based projects that require critical thinking, as opposed to (but not exclusive of) strict course content memorization.
