Hi! My name is Leah and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Educational Theatre and a teaching credential at NYU. I have extensive experience as a teaching artist, teacher, and tutor. I recently moved to New York from Los Angeles where I lived for the past two years working as the Education Associate at a theatre. Prior to that I attended Reed College, where I received a BA in literature and theatre and worked as a tutor in programs like SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) and the Reed College Science Outreach program. I love helping students achieve their goals and having the unique opportunity to work as a facilitator for learning and discovery! I bring my unique background in theatre education to every subject as I approach teaching and learning with a creative edge. When I'm not doing schoolwork or making art, I love listening to podcasts, cooking veggies (and pasta), and spending time with my friends. I look forward to the opportunity to tutor your students!
