Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Coastal Carolina University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Marine Science with a focus on Marine Biology and a minor in Spanish. I hope to continue you my education further by obtaining a Master of Science in the future.

Since high school, I have been tutoring in subjects such as Math, Spanish, and a few sciences. During my time at CCU, I became a tutor at the Math Learning Center for 2.5 years and the Foreign Language Center for 7 months on campus to help other students excel in Math, math-based sciences, and Spanish. I enjoy a broad range of subjects because I have so many interests and simply love to learn, but I am most passionate about Math, Sciences, and Spanish. There is so much one can learn in this world (it is quite literally endless!), and I learn something new every day. I believe it's so important to keep an open mind when it comes to learning - learning is not always difficult, but it's most definitely not always easy. I try to remind students to keep an open mind because it can hinder progress; you can do and learn anything if you open/put your mind to it. Another very important concept of my teaching philosophy is that it is okay to make mistakes. It's how we learn! I enjoy helping others learn, and seeing such wonderful progress along the way!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, running, and breaking out the arts and crafts.
