I'm originally from Colorado, and I've been working as a teaching artist in the NYC public school system since 2005. My favorite subjects to tutor are English, writing, math, drama, voice, and music. I attended NYU and received a Bachelors of Music, majoring in Music Business. I also has several years experience working as a teaching artist with special needs/District 75 students, specifically students on the autism spectrum. Having studied voice for over 15 years, I currently teach private voice, having trained in the Estill Voice Method at Tom Burke Voice Studio, NYC. I'm also a huge movie buff, enjoy web design and and am a songwriter. I love teaching and I believe encouragement, patience, empathy, and adaptability are keys to being a great tutor!!
