I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2003 with a Master’s of Science degree in Physics and a minor in Chemistry. I have many years of experience tutoring Physics, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus. I feel I have a unique tutoring style. I help the student work through a series of small questions. By doing so, we break the problem down so that they not only get the answer to the question but they also understand how to get to the answer, which will help them in the future. This tutoring style was very popular with my students. My tutoring sessions were full every semester. I enjoy sharing in my student’s sense of accomplishment when I see their eyes light up and get excited and figure out a problem that in the beginning seemed impossible to them. It is a great feeling!
