Certified Tutor

I attended New York University where I discovered my passion for Psychology. Originally, I planned to use my passion to help others reach their full potential by working as a Psychologist. However, upon graduating, I found myself still passionate about Psychology and my desire to help others, though the way in which I wanted to do so had changed. I am now pursuing a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. I hope to utilize my Psychology background and desire to teach and help others not only once I begin working as an OT, but as a tutor as well. The types of careers that interest me are all in the "helping" field, which I feel is directly related to tutoring and the success of the clients. Throughout high school I tutored both classmates and younger students and enjoyed each and every session that brought the students closer to success. I learned that not every student learns the same way and what works for one student might not work for another. I believe it is important to adapt to the individual learning style of each student.
