Certified Tutor

I graduated from William Jewell College with a Bachelor's in Music. While I have a broad spectrum of areas that I enjoy studying and tutoring, math is one of my favorites. Back when I was in high school, my friends always came to me for help with learning Math, and I always enjoyed helping them. Calculus is one of my favorites in particular, because I enjoy seeing my students realize that, while it is kind of intimidating at first, Calculus is just as easy as the math that came before it. I also enjoy helping students learn to get comfortable with standardized tests like the ACT. I keep both of us in a good mood so that the test doesn't seem as frustrating as it used to be for them. The change in a student's outlook when they start enjoying what they are doing always cheers me up.

In addition to tutoring and teaching, I also enjoy playing my clarinet, reading, listening to music and playing video games.
