I have been working with Varsity Tutors for several years. I am comfortable tutoring in many subjects, including French, Math, English and standardized testing such as the ACT, SAT, ISEE and LSAT. I have significant experience as both a one-on-one high school tutor during college and teaching high school students after college. I find that I am always able to make the material simple and relatable for the student that I am tutoring - it is a question of presenting the material in a manner that is easy to understand. In addition, I am very patient, friendly, and easy to talk to. My tutoring style is very adaptable to any type of student - the key is developing the student's independent understanding so that he or she eventually doesn't need my help anymore.
