I went over convergence conditions and theorems for sequences and series, including the comparison test, integral test, limits of sequences, and telescoping series. I worked several problems with the student. She has a very good idea of what to do, and we will continue next week with the ratio test.

We began by reviewing his social studies then went on to go over his math. His math consisted of multiplying fraction, graphing, and problem solving. His mother informed me he received an A on his book report.

The student and I reviewed how to graph sine and cosine functions. She memorized the unit circle, which was great!! I recommended that she learn how to quickly convert from radians to degrees and vise versa. She's learning how the unit circle and graphing work hand in hand.

This morning, the student and I reviewed absolute value and probability. We also reviewed how to solve long division problems with decimals. We walked through one of the problems and then she solved it entirely on her own. We will continue to work on solving equations using various operations during our next session.

Went over z/t testing and confidence intervals. The student was having trouble distinguishing when to use z distribution and t distribution. I showed her the key to identifying either distribution and had her practice until she mastered the identification process. We did this with testing as well as confidence intervals until she was comfortable with it. We ended the session going over Excel commands to perform said actions. She takes her test on Wednesday.

Today, we completed most of the student's practice packet in preparation for her test tomorrow. She sometimes makes simple mistakes in her algebra, but she is showing great improvement in these topics!
