SAT Subject Test in Physics Tutoring FAQ

High school students who have succeeded in physics courses demonstrate a great deal of potential to the colleges to which they apply. Physics requires students to quantify a real-life scenario, analyze it in the form of complex equations with numerous variables, and then re-translate the numerical answer back into a real-world result. Students who can successfully accomplish this demonstrate advanced quantitative abilities as well as critical problem-solving skills. Regardless of the major that you intend to pursue, showing off your physics skills on your applications can only help you.

What better way to prove to colleges that you know your stuff than by succeeding on a standardized test that focuses on your physics knowledge? The SAT Subject Test in Physics serves this particular purpose. Even if you have never had problems understanding high school physics, the SAT Subject Test in Physics can present you with difficulties. The exam is designed to compare the abilities of top physics students, so it is designed to be extremely challenging.

We worked through a lot of the material together and he is capable of explaining new concepts back to me. I told him to finish a test on his own so that we can focus on the larger concepts that he does not understand rather than a smattering of concepts all over the place.
