During high school, I participated in a program called the READ Alliance where I taught struggling elementary school students how to read. While in college, I provided homework assistance to Turkish refugee students. My support in education is one reason why I currently aspire to be an Occupational Therapist. The goal of an Occupational Therapist is not just to treat the client but to educate them on the importance of safety and the reasoning behind every step. I enjoy motivating and observing the progress of individuals as they strive toward their goal. I am also interested in areas outside of academics. In my spare time, I enjoy various things ranging from playing sports to reading. However, I particularly love finding the hidden treasures of NYC, such as, “hole in the wall” restaurants and undiscovered breathtaking areas.

I will be graduating from NYU in December of 2020 with a degree in Applied Physics and am currently looking to establish myself as a tutor in the NYC area.
