The LSAT Reading Comprehension section has four sets of reading questions with five to eight questions related to each passage. The student and I practiced a analytical reasoning and logic games section. We attempted to increase his accuracy in logic games and his ability to pick out details on certain types of logical reasoning questions.
This session the students continued to work on logic games. We went over a variety of games, starting with some basic linear games to make sure that their skills in doing these types of games are improving. The students seemed to be doing better setting up the games and making inferences, so we moved on to a new kind of game that we hadn't touched yet - sequencing games. We did a few practice hypotheticals setting up sequencing games and moved on to actual games. After doing a few they seemed to be more comfortable with these, so we started on some grouping games as well.
Help the student to analyze his essay on a reading comprehension problem. Specifically, trying to develop his skills to identify the main point, supportive evidence, assumptions, shifts in pod etc.
