Today we began a new chapter talking about holidays and different words and phrases that go with each of them. We are also continuing our practice of the past tense - passe compose. The student is slowly understanding how to use the two verb version of the past. Now the challenge is to get her to continue to remember what we have been studying from week to week. She still seems at odds with words we discussed weeks ago. Next week, we will work on negating the passe compose and I will remind her of the importance of keeping up with this second language.
