I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Biological Sciences from Marshall University and over 18 years of experience in research, clinical, and regulatory settings, tutoring bioinformatics, biology, cell biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, AP Biology, biochemistry, and general science; I combine laboratory technical expertise in PCR (polymerase chain reaction), molecular cloning, molecular assay development and validation, and laboratory notebook practice with a studentcentered approach that emphasizes the scientific method, deep conceptual understanding, active problem solving, experimental design, data analysis, and realworld applications to help learners build exam readiness, practical laboratory skills, and confidence for careers in biotechnology, public health, and research while fostering curiosity and inclusive learning.
