Hi, I'm Jara Brailsford, a Licensed Master Social Worker, first-generation college and graduate student, and author. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from McMurry University and completed a joint master's program through UNT and TWU. I'm currently writing a book about breaking generational curses and navigating the challenges of school, exams, and the academic system as a first-gen student.

I'm passionate about helping social work students succeed, whether it's preparing for the LMSW or LCSW exams, building confidence in their studies, or connecting with a supportive community of peers. Through my social work page, I provide guidance, study tips, and encouragement for those taking the exam for the first time or trying again. My goal is to make learning engaging, empowering, and accessible for every student.
