I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential because I believe education is a powerful tool that can open doors and transform lives. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students from young learners building strong foundation to college students preparing for advanced exams and I find it rewarding to guide each one toward greater confidence and mastery.

My academic background is rooted in the life sciences, with advanced study in biology and chemistry. This foundation has allowed me to tutor subjects such as biology, chemistry and anatomy and physiology, and related test preparation. In addition, I have spoken Spanish for over twenty years, which allows me to support bilingual learners and those studying Spanish as a subject. I especially enjoy tutoring biology because it connects scientific concepts to real-world processes and encourages students to think critically about how life works at every level.

My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, clarity, and adaptability, I tailor each session to the student's unique learning style, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps while encouraging active engagement. I emphasize not only content mastery but also skill development, such as problem solving, critical thinking and effective study strategies, so that students can continue to succeed independently.
