As a nurse with over 15 years of experience in labor and delivery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and administration, I hold a Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. My passion for teaching has led me to tutor nursing subjects, including NCLEX preparation and anatomy and physiology. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages students to engage actively and develop critical thinking skills. My goal is to empower aspiring nurses by sharing my knowledge and real-world experiences, helping them build confidence and competence in their practice. I have 4 children, ages 4 to 14. I've been married for 15 years to my favorite Texas cowboy. As a family, we enjoy vacationing at Disney World in Orlando and traveling the Southeastern US. Because I have a passion for high school and college aged people, I enjoy teaching 9th grade small group at my church.
