With a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Earlham College and over 35 years of experience teaching high school Chemistry, Biology, and AP Biology in Illinois, I am deeply passionate about fostering a love for science in my students. My extensive classroom experience has been complemented by more than 5 years of tutoring students via Zoom, where I employ a student-centered approach tailored to individual learning styles. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. My goal is to help students achieve their academic success while instilling a lifelong appreciation for the sciences. In my free time, I enjoy running and traveling.
