Emily: Arlington Heights tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a dedicated Special Education teacher with a passion for helping learners of all ages reach their full potential. Over the course of my career, I have worked with students ranging from toddlers as young as 2 to young adults up to 25 years old, supporting diverse learning needs and goals. My background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy has equipped me with specialized skills in behavior management, individualized instruction, and data-driven intervention planning.
Whether I am teaching foundational skills, reinforcing academic concepts, or supporting social-emotional growth, I take a compassionate, patient, and structured approach that is tailored to each learner's strengths and challenges. I believe that every student can succeed when given the right tools, strategies, and encouragement. My goal as a tutor is to create a positive, engaging environment that builds confidence, fosters independence, and makes learning meaningful.
With experience spanning early intervention, K12 education, and young adult skill-building, I bring flexibility, creativity, and a deep commitment to helping students achieve their personal and academic goals.
