Growing up in the vibrant Boston area and attending Boston Latin Academy, I developed both a strong academic foundation and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. My educational journey continued at Simmons University, where I earned my master's degree and honed my dedication to scholarly growth. These formative experiences shaped my passion for continuous learning and community engagement.

With over twenty years of leadership in higher education, I have dedicated my career to fostering academic excellence and creating environments where every student feels valued and empowered. My approach centers on inclusion and belonging, as I believe that every student deserves to see themselves reflected in their campus experience. Whether collaborating with academic teams, mentoring staff, or coaching students, I strive to ensure that our institutional mission serves everyone equally.

Beyond my professional life, I have two daughters that I care for and love very much, and who have a significant impact on my life. I also have a deep love for exploring cultures and languagesboth through travel and everyday experiences. Engaging with people from different backgrounds inspires me to broaden my perspective and seek innovative solutions in my work. My passion for coaching and playing basketball has strengthened my belief in teamwork, perseverance, and the power of mentorship.

Recently, I have become increasingly interested in how artificial intelligence can enhance education, community building, and personal growth. By learning to harness new technologies like AI, I hope to further support students, empower colleagues, and enrich my own lifelong learning journey. I am excited to discover how these tools can help me connect people, solve challenges, and continue evolving as a leader and educator.
