My name is James Scalise, and I'm a current MBA candidate at the Stern School of Business at NYU. and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With experience tutoring in both math and reading during high school, I have a passion for helping students demystify standardized tests like the SAT and GRE. I excelled on both exams, achieving a perfect score of 800 in SAT reading and a 169 in GRE reading, which fuels my ability to break down complex concepts for others. My teaching philosophy centers on building students' confidence by fostering a deep understanding of the material through multiple approaches, ensuring they can tackle questions from various angles.
