As a dedicated educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and over five years of teaching experience, I am excited about the opportunity to work with Varsity Tutors. My passion lies in mathematics, particularly algebra and middle school math, where I strive to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I pride myself on being an observant tutor, attuned to my students' needs and learning styles. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering self-reliance and critical thinking, utilizing tools like cheat sheets and visual aids to support diverse learners. As a current teacher, I understand the importance of providing students with the skills necessary for success in an increasingly STEM-focused job market. Balancing my role as a new mother with my commitment to education, I look forward to connecting with students outside the classroom and helping them unlock their full potential.
