As a current double major in Clinical Psychology and Human Development and Family Science at Florida State University, I bring a unique understanding of how children learn and develop. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in elementary and middle school subjects, particularly reading and writing, as well as beginner American Sign Language. My approach is structured yet flexible, focusing on creating engaging and memorable lessons that build confidence and foster a love for learning. I believe that children thrive in a supportive environment where they feel safe to make mistakes and celebrate their successes. My passion for teaching is rooted in my desire to help students unlock their potential and view learning as an exciting journey. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, the outdoors, baking, and exploring deaf culture, which enriches my tutoring practice and helps me connect with my students on a personal level.
