I am a current graduate student at UVA studying Media, Culture, and Technology. From University of Pittsburgh, I hold two bachelor's degrees in Communication & Rhetoric, and Film & Media Studies, alongside a certificate in children's literature.
I love to tutor because even with the success I have achieved today, I know I would not be here without the tutors who helped me through every tough assignment, who worked with me for hours of test prep, or even gave critical feedback on my college application essays. I have my own past tutors to thank for so many of the skills, strategies, and support that have gotten me where I am today.
Essentially, I love to tutor because I love giving back to my community, and if I can grant a student even an ounce of the confidence and relief my tutors gave me, then that's exactly what I plan to do.
