Certified Tutor

I am a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Wayne State College. With over two years of tutoring experience, I specialize in Biology, as well as English language learning for diverse age groups. I worked as a Tutor and Supplemental Instructor of Biology at Wayne State College from 2023-2024. While I started teaching English to adults in 2022, I moved to Spain to be a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant for ages 2-11 in 2024-2025 and have my TESOL certification. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, adapting my methods to their individual learning styles. I believe in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, utilizing visual aids and interactive techniques to enhance understanding. My time as a Biology Supplemental Instructor and an English Teaching Assistant has enriched my approach, allowing me to tailor lessons effectively. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals while igniting their curiosity about science and language. In the future, I plan to obtain my PhD in Microbiology. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy yoga, exploring nature, and reading, continually seeking to expand my knowledge and inspire my students.
