I am a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I also have a teaching certificate in the state of Florida as well as the state of Illinois. I have experience teaching both 3rd and 4th grade. While teaching 4th grade, I exclusively taught math and science which are the subjects I am available to tutor in. I am most passionate about teaching math and I love to connect math concepts to the real world so that my students know why something is important before they learn it. I always get to know my students and their interests so that I can connect concepts in a way that is engaging for each individual student. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, watching football, and discovering new places to eat.
