Certified Tutor
I'm a passionate and patient software development tutor with a unique background in both technology and special education. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Network Technology and Application Development, a Master's degree in Information Technology, and I'm currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education. My journey as both a developer and an educator has shaped my mission: to make tech education clear, inclusive, and empowering, no matter your background or learning style.
I specialize in front-end and back-end web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB. I love teaching beginners, career changers, and students who may need extra structure, support, or creative approaches to learning. As a mom of two neurodivergent girls and a former bootcamp instructor, I understand that everyone learns differently. I adapt each lesson to the individual, whether you're visual, hands-on, step-by-step, or somewhere in between.
My teaching style is encouraging, practical, and real-world focused. I explain coding concepts in everyday language, use analogies that make sense (like how HTML is the bones of a website), and help you build real projects from day one. Most of all, I create a safe space where it's okay to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow confidently.
Whether you're writing your first line of code or prepping for an interview, I'd love to help you reach your goals and have fun along the way!

Beyond teaching and technology, I’m an artisan and creative deeply rooted in my Puerto Rican and Taino heritage. I enjoy painting, sketching, sculpting, and crafting original pieces inspired by cultural symbols, especially Taino petroglyphs and Caribbean nature scenes. Art is not only a creative outlet for me but a way to preserve my identity and share cultural pride through visual storytelling. I also play the guitar, which brings rhythm and calm into my life, and it’s a reminder of how creativity flows across different mediums. These passions come together in my business, Anistella Connect Solutions, where I design and handcraft sensory bins, adaptive learning materials, and visual tools for children with special needs. My daughters help me pack and create, making it a meaningful family project that blends love, learning, and purpose. Everything we make is aimed at empowering neurodivergent learners through joyful, sensory-driven experiences. Whether I’m designing a product, coding a solution, or teaching a lesson, I believe creativity and compassion are essential, and I bring that spirit into everything I do.
